This was a lovely visual novel.

The story was a lot of fun, and Celyn was quite a relatable character. His personality, his anxiety, and his adorable crush felt very realistic. I even appreciated that, in some ways, his anxiety over having quit his job and feeling like a failure affected how he responded to certain things. It made him have substance.

I very much enjoyed that we could choose to go a more platonic route or seek out romance with Jordan. It was nice that both endings were so sweet and ended so well for Celyn. (I was also happy to see that he didn't have to choose romance over pursuing his dreams. It was a nice touch.)
Jordan was also a fantastic character, both as a love interest and a friend. He was perfect mix of nerdy and hot. I liked that he actively worked towards not only chasing his own dreams, but also towards raising his own self-esteem and whatnot. He came off as a sincerely great guy, and it was nice to see how well he and Celyn connected.

Also, I adored Celyn's parents! They were so supportive. Even the little argument with his mom was dealt with well. I love seeing parents who support and communicate well with their kids.

This was a fantastic (and beautiful) visual novel to play for the holidays.
Everyone who worked on it did an excellent job.
Keep up the good work!

Just started playing For the Love of Christmas on my channel. Its very fun. Great job on the story. Am enjoying it! :D

Thank you...  Just...  Thank you.

One of the first things the main character thinks when seeing Jordan is "are my clothes alright?" EXCUSE ME, SIR. You are wearing a suit vest with decorative golden chains, I think your clothes are fuckin fine.

So, this VN hits so close to home. I related to the issues portrayed in this story, except that I lost my dad when I was teen and my mom wasn't so understanding. It's a really sore memory, but this VN was so warm and it provided a comfort I didn't know I needed. Thanks for making this game!

That being said, others pointed out this mistake, but at the ending romance scene, Jordan says "Merry Christmas, Celyn" even when we changed the default name. I actually completely forgot that Celyn is the default name and I thought Jordan purposely called MC a different name as a joke or something... lol.

So wholesome !!!

But I'm struggling to find the ending with the first 2 CGs in the gallery, anyone has any tips?

I really liked it! Very sweet and dealing with some real issues, nothing becomes perfect just because of a good romance.

I did notice three errors I thought I should mention! The first time your mom calls your name and at least in the romance ending when Jordan says Merry Christmas they both use the default name even if you've changed it.

When you show Jordan your room and he's helping with the song playlist there's this "You look away. It isn't necessarily a hidden hobby, but yofu don't make..."
